Germany’s Foreign Ministry announced that Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul’s planned trip to China will be postponed, citing inability to secure sufficient meetings and concerns over Chinese rare-earth export restrictions.
China remains Germany’s key partner, especially given Beijing’s influence in the Ukraine conflict, the ministry added.
