The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has urged its citizens in Iran to leave the country amid growing regional tensions and security concerns, aligning with a broader wave of travel advisories from governments warning nationals to exit Iran while possible.
Several other nations including Poland, India, Sweden and Cyprus have already issued similar calls for their citizens to depart Iran as instability increases.
Kazakh diplomatic missions continue to monitor the situation and assist those still in the country.
